Goodnight, ParagonAs I begin typing this, there are just over thirteen hours left in the life of City of Heroes. It's a day that, looking back, I hoped didn't have to come as soon. I have flashes of hope that maybe NCsoft is pulling a prank and we'll be business as usual tomorrow, but I know that it's not the case. I will log in for the final time tonight, and wait out the final disconnect somewhere. Possibly alone. I have a plan for this.Goodnight, Paragon by *Robenix
It's a huge blow to me, to all of us that have spent money, time, effort in being the guiding hand of our creations' adventures in this virtual world that was very real. We have made (and lost) friends, we were a community that people claim to be one of the best. The game itself may have been a longtime contender, but it can be argued that the best was yet to come: a best that we players have (possibly) seen but will never experience. I don't think I need to write a list, it'd maybe be too hurtful to do so.
